Julius Jacobus van de Sande Bakhuyzen (June, 18, 1835 - October, 21, 1925) - a Dutch artist, of the Hague school, most famous for his landscapes. He studied under the tutorship of his father, Dutch painter Hendrikus van de Sande Bakhuyzen (1795 - 1860). The van Goghs and the Bakhuyzens were related: Julius's great-grandfather, Hendrik, was married to Janettje van Gogh (1731 -1796). Among his paintings are: "Minding the sheep", "A day's boat ride through the marsh" (1863), "A canal in Delft".
