Gustave Jean Jacquet (1846 - 1909) - a French painter. He studied under the tutorship of William Bourguereau (1825-1905). He is most famous for his genre scenes, portraits and depictions of French life of 16-18 centuries. Among his works are the following: "The Day Dream" (1865), "The recital" (1898), "An Admiring Expression", "Young Beauty with Red Hat", "A Pensive Moment".
