Francois-Nicolas-Augustin Feyen-Perrin (April, 12, 1826, Bey-sur-Seille - October, 14, 1888, Paris) - a French painter and printmaker most famous for his highly acclaimed land- and seascapes and portraits. He studied under the tutorship of L. Cogniet and d'Yvon. Among his most famous works are the following: "A Sailor's Infancy", "The Anatomy Lesson of Doctor Velpeau", "Portrait of Guy De Maupassant" (1876), "The Winnowers" (1869).
